Important Legal Documents — Please Read

My name is Yenni Cannon, a Certified Process Server (JBCC) serving Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and DFW-West. I have important legal documents that must be delivered to you in person.

Please text or email me. No calls; I am usually driving. We will coordinate the best day and time for delivery.

“Do you remember that car wreck you were in last year? The other driver got a lawyer and filed papers at the courthouse. You have the right to receive a copy so your insurance company can handle it.”

If you prefer to check with your attorney first, please do so. Your attorney may accept service on your behalf (TRCP 119).

If you have a registered agent, please share their contact.

If you are not the person named on the door hanger, tell me so I can remove you from my schedule.

I deliver legal documents, and courts decide whether someone was served with process.

I am a Certified Process Server serving Tarrant County and the DFW area.

Clarification of Authority under Texas Law

As a Certified Process Server (JBCC) under Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 103, I am authorized to serve civil process statewide. My role is to deliver court documents and ensure that due process is properly carried out — not to enforce judgments or take physical possession of property or persons.

The Texas Civil Process Book (2025 Edition) confirms that a certified private process server may lawfully serve most civil writs and orders without obtaining a separate written court order, provided no physical enforcement is involved. The court decides whether service was valid.

□ May Serve Without Court Order

  • Citations and Precepts
  • Writs of Garnishment (Judgment Defendant)
  • Writs of Certiorari, Scire Facias, Turnover
  • Writs of Injunction and Temporary Restraining Orders
  • Protective Orders
  • Writs of Mandamus and Habeas Corpus
  • Writs of Restoration

□ Requires Written Court Order

  • Writs of Garnishment (on Garnishee)
  • Writs of Attachment, Sequestration, Execution
  • Writs of Commitment or Capias
  • Eviction suits and Writs of Possession or Reentry
  • Distress Warrants and Tax Warrants
  • Writs of Retrieval

⚖️ Legal reference: Texas Rules of Civil Procedure 103 & 107; Texas Civil Process Book (2025 Edition), pp. 405-418. Certified servers may deliver any writ that does not involve physical enforcement. Sheriff or constable jurisdiction applies only where possession or seizure is required.
